About This Project

We did a refit of the dispensing area at Ropata pharmacy, adding a data hub and new consultant room.

We redesigned and improved the dispensing area to optimise the flow, made spaces more usable and also provided privacy for customers, allowing the pharmacy to offer more services.

To achieve this we demolished the old dispensing cabinetry, built a new one, rotating it 90 degrees and increasing the surface area of the workspace. We also added custom made shelves for medication storage.

We then upgraded the data cables and built a new communications hub for the computers.

Once completed, we built a consultation room to be used for things such as Flu and Covid vaccinations.

During this time we arranged for the sprinkler system to be upgraded to ensure the space complied with fire standards.

This job was a challenge design wise as it was a very small space. The business needed to be operational throughout the construction so temporary workspaces were also provided, while keeping noise and dust to a minimum.
